Billions of documents were forever lost in the disaster of 9-11-2001. Not only will these documents never be recovered, but the cost involved to recreate them is astronomical. Most can never be recovered and will remain a simple memory. The majority of the documents lost were of a business nature, but there were also things of a personal nature: photographs, passports, family records.
